Sales and Marketing Executive

Salary: £18k - £21k OTE £30k+
Position: Perm
Location: Canterbury

This is a rare opportunity to work in a fast-moving, innovative environment that is experiencing rapid growth. This is not your average sales and marketing role.

Requirements:

Summary of Role:
Based in Canterbury HQ
Working closely with Marketing and Administration department and the Directors.
 
You will be dealing with email and phone enquiries from potential learners.
You will have a passion for great customer service and a helpful, ‘can-do attitude’.
You will undergo product/qualification training and have an interest in the legal sector.
You will have input to shape and develop the marketing strategy whilst implementing campaigns/ actions to convert enquiries to sales.
 
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Sales:
Inbound: Dealing with inbound enquiries advising and upselling.
Researching further sales opportunities.
 
Outbound: Follow up and convert leads generated by web traffic /social media activity.
Upsell / gain new base from the existing database. 
Identify opportunities to create more outbound opportunities and work with the marketing department to implement targeted campaigns.
 
Marketing:
Work closely with the marketing team to feedback information and market intelligence to inform and shape marketing campaigns /activity.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
An empathetic individual with an interest in, and commitment to, the Legal / Education sector.
Dynamic, credible, professional manner and thrives on engaging with aspiring professionals.
Ability to work alongside the marketing department to maximise opportunities.
Business savvy and able to identify the cross-sell and up-sell opportunities available.
A high standard of business ethics.
Ability to contribute to the development of and implementation of marketing programmes to increase awareness, purchasing and retention.
A 'can do' attitude and ability to come up with solutions to challenges - we have a unique flexibility and all of our team members represent that.
Excellent organisational and communicational skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent written and verbal communications with a keen eye for detail.
Team player – with excellent relationship building skills.
Keen interest in digital marketing.
Excellent social media skills and professionalism.
Evidence of working towards objectives and achieving goals.
Proven success working in a target related environment.
 
Desirable but not necessarily essential:
Previous experience in professional training sales.
Previous experience in the legal sector.
Understanding of Google Analytics.
 
Qualifications:
Graduate or equivalent degree and/or experience in sales / digital marketing.
